The journey
William Erbey’s career began at General Electric Capital Corporation (GE) where he achieved remarkable success over eight years. From a strategic planner to Western Regional Manager for the Leasing and Industrial Loan Department, Erbey steadily climbed the corporate ladder. He assumed pivotal roles such as Northeast Region Manager and Eastern Territory Manager for the Commercial Lending Department, ultimately reaching the pinnacle as Program General Manager.
At 32, Erbey made history as the President and COO of General Electric’s Mortgage Insurance Corporation, tying as the youngest general manager at GE.
The following year founded Oxford Financial Group, which later evolved into Ocwen Financial Corporation. Following his departure from Ocwen at 65, Erbey ventured into technology, founding six innovative companies.
Through his entrepreneurial spirit and calculated risk-taking, Erbey has enjoyed a career marked by numerous successful ventures.
